The Absent Museum ︎︎︎
2017-2021
The Absent Museum was conceived in 2016 as a cooperative practice to consider which aspects of pedagogical inquiry were absent from institutional programing. Framed as a discussion specific platform it included voices from prominent collectives and individuals who, despite the undeniable threat of absolute power, continue to perform acts of philanthropic giving and community building.
2020-2021 - a series of virtual meetings in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and global uprisings to examine the role of a collective document -Manifesto. Later published as, Care as Discipline (2021) by CSLB, and Hope as Discipline (2020) by UCLA New Wight Biennial. The series was co-organized with A. Baginski and Silvi Naçi.
2019 - Taking Space/Making Space with Cog︎nate Collective, and Feminist Center for Creative Work, a panel co-organized with A. Baginski. UC Irvine’s School of Humanities
2018 - Making an Activist with Madin Lopez of ProjectQ , a talk about the power of the LGBTQ+ community. CalArts’ Bijou Theatre.
