Gosia Wojas (born in Poland, based in Los Angeles, CA) is an interdisciplinary artist. Her work is a result of practice-led research that often spans several years. She holds an MFA in Art from University of California, Irvine with a Critical Theory emphasis from UCI's School of Humanities, and a BFA in Fine Art from California Institute of the Arts.

Wojas’ research framework considers notions of materiality, political subjectivity and modes of being. Her work mediates on a multitude of forms, materials and gestures in play with strategies of mimesis, proximity and performativity.

Wojas’ writing has been included in the  MATTER-Journal of New Materialist Research, Material-i-ty, and Flat Journal, and she recently participated in talks at the Institute of Philosophy, KU Leuven in Belgium, and the World Ethical Data Forum 2022, among others. Between the years of 2011-2021 she organized talks, screenings, exhibitions, and workshops independently, and as The Absent Museum and Projekt Papier, at venues in Los Angeles, CA, Berlin, Germany and Gdańsk, Poland.
